Most hunts take place from elevated box or ladder stands, with typical shooting distances ranging from 50 to 75 yards in swampy areas and up to 300 yards along open powerline cuts. Hunters are never pushed beyond their comfort level, and those aiming for long-range shots must demonstrate proficiency to ensure accuracy and ethical harvests. Commonly used firearms include standard deer hunting calibers .243, .270, .300, 30-06, 12ga, or 20ga slug and select AR-15 platforms such as the 6.8, 6.5, .50 Beowulf, .458, and .410. While 5.56 calibers are permitted with approved Barnes Vor-Tex ammunition, hunters are encouraged to choose weapons that balance power, precision, and respect for the animal.
Hog Hunting Lodge

The lodge includes two bedrooms, one furnished with a king bed and two twin beds, and the other with two twin beds; along with a full kitchen, private bathroom, and a cozy living area equipped with satellite television and a complete channel lineup.
For larger groups or those seeking a communal atmosphere, additional lodging is available in the main mess hall building. This space features two private bedrooms accommodating three to four guests in twin beds for the first room, the second has three twin beds, along with shared access to a welcoming common area, two semi-private full baths, and comfortable area for relaxing after a day in the field.

Only male hogs are harvested during free-range hunting trips, and no trophy fees are ever charged. Multi-day packages range from two to four nights and include comfortable lodging, hearty meals, and multiple guided hunts, typically allowing one hog per day. Williams Hunting stands behind every wild hog hunting experience with a shot opportunity guarantee. If on the last day a hunter hasn’t had a chance to take a shot at a wild hog, they are invited to hunt within the preserve at no additional cost for one meat hog. This policy ensures that every guest has the opportunity for a successful and rewarding hunting trip. A preserve meat hog is defined as a male weighing under 150 pounds with cutters shorter than 1.5 inches. To promote long-term herd health and sustainability, only male hogs may be harvested during free-range hunting trips. Williams Hunting’s dedication to responsible wildlife management also means there are never any trophy fees for free-range wild hogs.
Two-Night & Two-Day Hunts start on either Wednesday or Thursday. You arrive at noon and hunt that afternoon, hunt the next Morning and afternoon, and then the following morning, then depart by noon on the third day. This hunting trip includes two hogs of any size, one per day, lodging, and meals for only $895 per Hunter.
The Three-Night & Two-Day is for the longer distance hunter. These hunts start on Thursday and end on Sunday. You arrive late on Thursday and have dinner then hunt Friday and Saturday with a departure in the am of Sunday which gives you the ability to travel longer distances each day. This hunting trip includes two hogs of any size, one per day, lodging, and meals for only $995 per Hunter.
Three-Nights & Three-Days of hog hunting is for the hardcore group. Most hunts start Wednesday at Noon and end on Saturday noon or Thursday noon and end on Sunday noon; both include six sits. Includes onsite private lodging, meals and three hogs, one hog per day, for only $1,295 per Hunter.
Four-Nights & Three-Days of hog hunting is for the hardcore group on a long-distance trip. You will arrive Wednesday afternoon and then the hunts start Thursday and end on Sunday and includes six sits. Includes onsite private lodging, meals and three hogs, one hog per day, for only $1,595 per Hunter.
Additional free-range hogs can be purchased for only $200 a hog, no trophy fees, and paid for as you shoot.
